A LEGO store roughly an hour by car from Orlando

Florida Man’s Toys is a family-owned LEGO and toy store at Volusia Mall in Daytona Beach, roughly an hour by car from the Orlando area. Many of our customers are LEGO fans from Orlando and Central Florida who want to see sets and minifigures in person, pick up an online order, or talk to us about selling or trading part of a collection.

Why make the trip

  • New sealed LEGO sets. Browse the LEGO sets page to see what we have listed before you go.
  • Individual minifigures. We list minifigures one at a time, so you can look for the exact figure you want on our minifigures page.
  • New and pre-owned selection. We carry both new and pre-owned LEGO sets and minifigures. Our Daytona Beach LEGO store page has the full overview of what is in the store.
  • Order online, pick up in the store. Our website is an online catalog for customers in the Greater Orlando and Daytona Beach area. Order online and pick up in the store, so you know the set you want is waiting for you.
  • Saturday Build & Take. Our activities page lists an in-store Build and Take event on Saturdays. Confirm the details with us before planning a trip around it.

We do not offer shipping for online orders. Orders are picked up in the store.

Selling or trading your LEGO: please read this first

If you are driving in with a collection, the most important thing to know is that trade-ins are scheduled ahead of time. Our sell and trade page says:

BY APPOINTMENTS ONLY.

It also explains that we are currently limiting what we accept:

Effective immediately, Florida Man’s Toys will be significantly limiting the LEGO collections we accept for trade.

At this time we are focusing primarily on retired LEGO sets, high-value collector sets, large sealed collections, rare minifigures, and premium LEGO inventory that aligns with current customer demand. In the words of our policy page:

Unfortunately, we may have to decline many common sets, bulk bricks, and lower-value collections that we would normally purchase.

We are still buying LEGO, but we are being more selective. So please do not make the drive with a large bulk collection and no appointment. Start with the online trade-in form on our Sell & Trade LEGO page. We will review what you send and schedule a time for you to come in.

A few other points from that page that matter for planning:

  • Walk-in trade-ins without a scheduled appointment are store credit only. A cash option requires the online form and an appointment first.
  • Collections of 15 or more sets, or bulk bins over 20 lbs, require an appointment.
  • We accept complete sets with all of their minifigures, minifigures, and clean, sorted bricks. We do not accept knock-off brands, smoke-scented LEGO, broken or severely damaged pieces, or custom painted or modified LEGO.

What to bring

  • Your appointment confirmation, if you are bringing LEGO to trade.
  • Complete sets with all original minifigures. Clean, sorted pieces are preferred.
  • The set numbers or a list of what you are bringing, if you have one.
